I am tempted to replace my no-name brand office chair for this Prime Day bargain gaming chair.

I want my readers to know one thing: I will never buy a standing desk. I was not born into this world to stand, I was born to sit. To recline. To luxuriate. My tired bones were not made to support myself like an ill-fitting bipod, but to be held by the absolute finest throne.

The problem, of course, is that the chair currently facing my desk is a cheap no-name brand from Amazon that costs far less than the chair itself: my favorite gaming chair, Secretlab, on sale for $519 on Secretlab's website It's no wonder I'm eyeing the Prime Day special on the Titan Evo.

This is No. 1 on PCG's Best Gaming Chairs list, but as keen observers may have noticed, it's actually not that heavily discounted. The regular price is $549, so if you get it on Prime Day's big discount, you'll only save 5.5% of the regular price, or a whopping $30.

In other words, this is one heck of a seat, which is why we call it “the standard by which all other gaming chairs are judged.

The only problem? The warranty: the Secretlab chair has a three-year warranty, which isn't much in the world of high-end chairs like this. Still, the chairs are of high quality and will last a long time. Our review model in the office has been in use for over three years now, just like the day we received it. If you're looking for a gaming chair and want something top-of-the-line, this is a great opportunity to save $30.
