The past two weeks have seen a number of slightly disturbing artwork, from the sexy maid Bakool Ja Ja to the pregnant Bakool Ja Ja. In other words, the catboy in the smart glasses, Koana, is literally there. And director and producer Naoki Yoshida must not have been expecting this wave of Bakool Ja Ja love, either.

As GamesRadar reported, Yoshi P. seems as baffled by this as I am. Forgive me for stepping into a few spoilers for the Dawntrail storyline, but I'm not going to spoil it for you.

While I still don't fully understand the infatuation with Bakur Jaja, he is arguably the best character development in the expansion. Bakur Jaja, who comes across as a taco-snarfing jerk, turns out to be a softy who actually suffers from terrible survivor's guilt. After spending the early part of the story in head-to-head conflict with him, he eventually becomes a staunch ally for the rest of the expansion, fighting alongside us when things get a little bad with the rather unsexy one-headed lizardman, Zorar Ja.

Then again, he may also be a huge, muscular meathead with a sensitive side. I'm not sure I'll ever swoon over him in his maid's outfit, but I'm beginning to see the appeal. Maybe I've been playing too many games the past few weeks.
