WoW players are already using the new “Warbands” system for its true purpose.

World of Warcraft recently introduced the Warband system, and with it, a new login screen Warband is a group of four characters that can share many things. Reputation, currency, banking, “Warbound” items, and more. Also, on the character select screen, the four characters line up as if they were posing for an album cover.

The World of Warcraft community is already meme-ifying the awesomeness of this feature at full speed, as you can arrange who is and is not in your warband and, of course, the outfits they wear. My favorite is the perfect recreation of the South Park episode “Make Love, Not Warcraft” by user Zombosa.

The Sword of a Thousand Truths (named “Slayer of the Lifeless” in the game) can be obtained from Gothik the Harvester in Naxxramas or Skarvald the Constructor in Utgarde can be obtained with heroic difficulty from.

There are tons of these in the WoW and Transmog subreddits, and they are almost all great, but I'm not sure what is noteworthy about this one. Doesn't seem like there's anything wrong with it.

Other submissions range from lore-faithful homages to reckless crossovers. Variety is the spice of life, so I tried to be faithful to the Healthcream family placed next to Doctor Strange, Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man. I am personally a huge fan of both.

I confess that, for some odd reason, it never crossed my mind that the new login screen would be a huge boon to the game's transmog community in many ways. Like any MMO, WoW has a fairly thriving fashion culture, and what Warbands offers, more than any QOL boost, is the opportunity to see a particular squad in their Sunday best every time they log in.

For example, this is Azeroth's first paladin boyband and most elite Tauren chieftain squad: “I like big” It's good to show great respect and know what you want.

Whether it's a housing community that recreated Howl's Moving Castle from a bunch of scrap wood or the creative costumes of City of Heroes, which has recently had a fan revival, I'm always eager to see how creative MMORPG players can be, but Azeroth always does not disappoint.
