Help: RTX 4060 Ti, RTX 4070, RTX 4070 Super gaming PCs are so affordable, I'm debating which one is best.

Help us out, PC Gamer's hardware department can't agree on which of the best gaming PC deals we found today: at Newegg, the Acer Predator Orion 3000 is $1,200 (a $500 savings), the Skytech Eclipse Lite for $1,650 (a $250 savings), and the ABS Cyclone Aqua for $930 (a $170 savings).

Looking at price alone, the Predator Orion 3000 is of course more discounted. And the Orion is definitely a bargain in its own right. For only $1,200, you get a true high-end setup with RTX 4070, Intel Core i7 13700F, and DDR5 RAM; Acer even includes a mouse and keyboard.

It would be an obvious choice. But listen up: the Eclipse Lite may be worth the extra $450. In fact, while this campaign is on, it is the most complete high-end machine at this reasonable price.

Because it has the ultimate chef's kiss of high-end, expensive gaming hardware. What I mean is: ...... First, it is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D. It also has an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Super, the best graphics card in the $500-600 price range. the RTX 4070 Super is, quite frankly, closer to the RTX 4070 Ti than the RTX 4070, our favorite AMD graphics It can compete with the Radeon RX 7800 XT, one of our favorite cards.

Eclipse Lite also goes where most inexpensive RTX 4070 and RTX 4070 Super rigs do not, offering 32 GB of DDR5 memory that actually runs at a reasonable speed (5,200 MT/s). It is now 2024, and DDR5-4400 is very unlikely to make it. Finally, add the aesthetic icing of a white windowed chassis and you have a pretty nice all-rounder for $1,600. If I were to buy one now, this is exactly the kind of PC I would buy. (But I can see where the Orion 3000 crew is coming from. You're saving an extra $450 and getting a rig that won't significantly underperform in games, and while the RTX 4070 will be less powerful (the Eclipse Lite will average 10-20% higher frame rates), the games will still play well at 1440p and 4K! The price of the Eclipse Lite is about the same as that of a similarly-priced gaming PC. Considering that most gaming PCs in the same price range have RTX 4060 Ti, $1200 for such a desktop is a real bargain. The only real downside is that it only comes with 16GB of 4400 MT/s memory.

Looks like we're in an impasse. To be fair, however, this impasse may depend on your budget. If your budget is up to $1,650, I'd go with the Skytech, but if that's a bit too much, the Acer won't disappoint.

But speaking of budgets, one thing we agree on at Hardware Hut is that the $930 deal (a $170 savings) on the ABS Cyclone Aqua has been going on for a while and is still undervalued.

For well under $1,000, you can get a rig that can play the latest games at 1440p on a high refresh rate monitor; the Intel Core i5 13400F is still my favorite budget gaming CPU, and the RTX 4060 Ti is still my favorite budget gaming CPU in the same price range as other handily outperforms current-generation alternatives. Most RTX 4060 Ti rigs cost over $1,000, so ABS has done us a solid with this rig. 32GB of RAM is on board, as I said, DDR4, but builds like this with 32GB of memory for under $1,000 are It is rare to see such a build with 32GB of memory for less than $1,000.

Three solid deals for three different budgets. We're still undecided, so we'll let you pick from these.
