BioWare has been vague about the release date of its pansexual dwarf romance simulator "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" so far, saying only that it will be released this fall. Publisher Electronic Arts has updated its quarterly report, announcing that "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" will be released in the third quarter.
However, it's still too early to take a break in October; November marks the 10th anniversary of the release of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and would be a notable time to release a sequel; according to a recent blog post from BioWare, August will be the actual release date, " new roadmap," and "more details about the game."
BioWare recently announced that its next game, "Dragon Age," will contain 140,000 lines of dialogue, which is more than the 88,000 words of "Inquisition" and the estimated 114,921 lines of dialogue of "Baldur's Gate 3". In other words, if you are lucky, you will have conversations with your friends a little more frequently than in "Inquisition," where they spoke to you every 15 minutes. I still regret not being able to hear Dorian flirt with Iron Bull.
There was varying degrees of optimism about the possibility of BioWare's return with The Veilguard. Fraser Brown thought that the release of the gameplay underscored how terminally out of touch EA and BioWare had become. Ted Litchfield, despite being an old-school RPG fan, is quite optimistic about Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
