A group of Diablo 4 treasure seekers united in the "Not Finding A Cow Level Discord" have solved one of the game's longest-running mysteries, uncovering a new event that had previously only been discussed in theory and a previously undroppable They discovered a unique ring. Briefly, they discovered an event that gave the group a rare lucky coin, which they dropped one by one into the wishing well.
hold up: misfortune' The existence of this ring was first discovered by data miners shortly after Diablo 4's release, but players were not lucky enough to find it. There are a few prerequisites for this chain of events: a group of five players must be playing each class in the game, a greedy shrine must be active when looting, and a 'lucky hit' status of 50% or higher greatly increases the chance of a lucky coin drop.
All of this unfolds by triggering a mini-event in the Skosgren area, during which unlucky soldier NPCs are slaughtered by monsters; with the Greed Shrine effect active, each player must loot an NPC corpse to receive a lucky coin. I like this flavor text: "Hope it brings you more luck than its previous owner."
Indeed it did for Jimpen, Ecledia, Tweaked, Teire, and Raffi1337, who all received the required drop. After this, the group headed east of Cerrigar in Scosglen, where they found a wishing well. One after another, they dropped their lucky coins into the well and all were awarded the title of "Well-Wisher." After a brief rainfall, the ring fell. The whole thing can be seen below.
So... The ring. It's a collection of mediocre status, but it's named after the Lucky Hit modifier.
Also, the ring cannot be sold, traded, or salvaged, so it's with the character forever. Naturally, some immediately connect this discovery to the ongoing and sometimes maddening search for Diablo 4's secret cow level, the holy grail for the game's mystery hunters, but whether this is another step along the way or the end of itself, who knows yet! .
"Diablo 4" may not have had the most stellar start from a player's perspective, but it's eating any hellish scourge pretty well right now. This year's "Loot Reborn" event was a huge hit, changing the game in many ways that should change it, and Season 5 continues to do a good job with the main event, the "Vessel of Hatred" expansion scheduled for October 8.
