Cyberpunk 2077 will offer some free DLC after the game's launch When The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was released, CD Projekt Red supported the game with 16 free DLC packs in the following three months. It was a pretty good set, including a new armor set, some new quests, Gwent cards, and some alternate looks, but the last DLC was the release of the New Game+ mode. One eager Twitter user asked the official Cyberpunk account if the new game would get the same treatment:
Not a huge surprise, but a nice confirmation: CD Projekt Red is offering owners of "The Witcher" and "The Witcher 2" They have always made a big deal about post-game support, as they famously did with the free Enhanced Editions offered after release. When the free DLC for "The Witcher 3" was released, Marcin IwiĆski, co-founder of CD Projekt, expressed his enthusiasm for the program: "We sincerely hope that this kind of initiative will become the industry standard rather than the exception to the general rule, and that "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt' will set a good example."
