Kickstarted a few months ago in 2017, "Exo One" reemerged at the Steam Summer Games Festival with a gameplay trailer and demo. If you missed the demo or simply want to spend some leisurely time piloting a saucer-shaped spaceship, you can enjoy it in a free prologue available on Steam starting today.
The prologue will give you a sense of how drifting and flying works in what indie developer Exbleative calls a "truly alien experience. "Exo One is a game of flying and scenery to chill music. To increase your speed, you can use a sort of half pipe that is conveniently built into each landscape. It seems like the kind of game you would play to lose track of time when everything else is a bit too much.
Exo One is expected to be released by the end of 2020.
