A major update to "GTA Online" has been released, adding new vehicles, co-op missions, revamped business battles, and an editor that allows players to create their own open-wheel races. Rockstar dubbed the update the "Los Santos Summer Special," and you can read more about it here.
It includes quite a few vehicles, from shiny sports cars like the Lampadati Tigonto to the F1-style supercar Declasse DR1, and you'll find plenty of new wheels to enhance them at the mod store. Even more exciting are the new co-op missions accessible from the superyacht (is there a superyacht?). Complete all six missions and you'll be rewarded with a unique marine uniform.
The game's F1-style open-wheel racing has been improved with the addition of nine new races, the ability to see tire wear on cars, and the introduction of indicators to recognize body damage. A new editor has also been added, allowing users to create their own races. In today's update, business battles have likewise been tweaked to offer greater rewards for success.
Remember the arcade game "QUB3D" from "GTA IV": two new arcade enclosures are scattered throughout the city, and "Street Crimes" and "Gang Wars" have been tweaked a bit: "Gang Wars" has been slightly adjusted so you can play against AI
Updates.
The update will also find some additional collectibles and clothing, along with some fixes. It's a massive update, but this year's GTA Online is far from over. A few weeks ago, Rockstar teased the "biggest update ever," which will add new heists set in "entirely new locations."
