Games For Change has announced the winners of the Games For Change Awards, awarding the Most Significant Impact award to the adventure game Sea of Solitude.The Games For Change festival is an event that highlights how games can event that highlights how games can positively impact society and be used as a force for good.
Jo-Mei's Sea of Solitude tells the story of a young woman whose trauma has turned her into a giant monster, roaming a submerged city. The Most Significant Impact category is awarded to games that explore a special issue, and Sea of Solitude is Zachtronics' Eliza, Sea of Solitude" was nominated alongside Zachtronics' "Eliza," DontNod's "Life is Strange 2," and Catt Small's "SweetHeart.
"Sea of Solitude" was also nominated in the most innovative category, but fell short of Media Molecule's "Dreams," which is also a creation tool for the PlayStation 4.
