According to esports consultant Rod Breslau, Ubisoft is preparing to announce a new game today, apparently a battle royale game.

According to Breslau's sources, Hyper Scape is a free-to-play FPS from Ubisoft Montreal, set in the future and to be released fairly soon Ubisoft is teasing the game today, with a closed beta to begin next week . However, it will be a short one, as it will be available to everyone on July 12.

Ubisoft appears to be working closely with Twitch, introducing "an unprecedented level of integration," including the ability for chat to directly influence the game, and Breslau's sources say that by the end of this week, streamers will be able to see gameplay will be able to do so.

Only the PC version will be available in July, but a console version will arrive later in the year, with cross-play allowing PC and console players to play together.
