In "Cyberpunk 2077," you can summon a car like a roach and honk your horn

In Cyberpunk 2077, you can drive around Knight City and its suburbs in almost any car you see on the street, as long as you have the upgrades to become a skilled carjack. But even if you don't commit a crime, you will be given your own car, which you can keep close by at all times.

Andy Kelly test drove several cars in the first hands-on installment of Cyberpunk 2077 and got a vintage rally car full of sci-fi gizmos in Nomad's Origin. After the prologue, he was upgraded to a flashy sports car, a Quadra Turbo R.

"I'm not sure what I'm going to do now, but I'm going to try it out.

While no car can match Roach, Geralt's partner in "The Witcher 3," they will come when called. At the push of a button, the car will find you, sidle up to you, and honk its horn to announce your arrival. In other open-world games like "Saints Row," you can call a car to deliver you, but in "Cyberpunk," you drive yourself. At least, until you get inside.

Andy also had good things to say about driving a car. 'I like the low, slightly fish-eyed third-person perspective. You can also drive from a first-person perspective and look at the car's amazingly detailed dashboard. Driving around the dense, intricate streets of Watson in this car is sensational. The slightly rubbery and forgiving physics are also appreciated, allowing you to hit scenery, obstacles, and other traffic without losing too much momentum"

What makes it better than Roach is style. Sure, you can saddle and armor your equine companion and change its appearance with mods, but there is only so much you can do with a horse. Cyberpunk 2077 cars give CD Projekt Red room for creativity, evoking retro-futuristic supercars and age-old bunkers modified with the latest technology.

More details about Night City can be seen in the recently broadcast Cyberpunk 2077 reveal.
