Two million people have played "Ori and the Will of the Wisps". This is a very impressive number considering that this beautiful and challenging platformer was only released in March of this year.
Of these 2 million players, 423,300 have played the game. That's fantastic! 45,000 people play on hard mode, and just over 7,000 play without ever dying. This is especially impressive: Ori is not easy.
This news and other fun statistics were announced today on Ori's official Twitter feed:
It turns out that people are good at Ori! 118,000 people beat the Developer's Ghost in every Spirit Trial. 9,000 people completed the game within 4 hours. 9,000 people completed the game in less than 4 hours. And 157,000 found all the collectibles and can be considered completers.
In total, the 2 million people who played "Ori" played a total of 14.5 million hours and died a total of 240 million times. If you are not one of those players, you should be! It's a very good game. Watch your step.
