Newegg is offering the Acer V277U (bmiipx) monitor for $199.99. No need to enter a coupon code or wait for an email-in rebate to arrive.
The deal also doesn't relegate you to TN territory: the V227U is made with an IPS screen, which generally offers better image quality and wider viewing angles (TN screens have a smaller "sweet spot" for optimal viewing and are generally less vivid). They also support FreeSync.
So what is the problem? It is the refresh rate. This is a 75Hz display, so if you are using a high-end graphics card like the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, some games will push more frames than this monitor can keep up with.
The flip side, of course, is that a monitor with a higher refresh rate will cost more, all else being equal. If that's the case, Acer's VG271U supports 144Hz and can be had for $349.99. However, if you are looking to save money, the V277U is a perfect fit.
