The LucidSound LS41 wireless gaming headset is currently available on Amazon for an all-time low price of $119. It's not every day that an expensive wireless headset can be purchased at a price that doesn't put pressure on your wallet. Listed at $199.99, this headset has been selling for around $160 for the last month, not a bad price for a comfortable wireless headset.
We were mostly positive on the LucidSound LS41 in our review last year, despite having some feature issues. One thing we liked about it is that the ear cups can be rotated a few degrees in either direction to take pressure off your temples, perfect if you wear glasses. People who wear glasses know the struggle of finding a headset that doesn't give them a headache after an hour of gaming.
The headset uses a 50mm driver with a frequency response of 20Hz-20Khz for some dope audio; a decent mic is very important if you play competitive games like Apex Legends or PUBG that require adjustment.
7.1 Virtual Dolby Surround is a nice addition, but to work properly with the LS41, your PC must have a Dolby Digital compatible sound card. If you don't have one, you will have to settle for 5.1 surround sound on your PC and PS4. Not a deal-breaker, but something to consider if you are in the market for a wireless gaming headset and want the best sound possible.
