The Joker in "Mortal Kombat 11" appears to be teasing "Injustice 3".

The Joker will soon join the roster of Mortal Kombat 11, but he is already a prankster, and one of his lines in the gameplay trailer has led to speculation that he is referring to NetherRealm's DC spin-off, Injustice 3 The film is.

"Just the two of you?" The Joker asks with a symbolic smile, blood streaming down his mouth. 'That's not fair!'

"I'm not going to let you go.

"What if there is a third person?" retorts Joker #2.

Given that NetherRealm has yet to announce its next installment, many sharp-eared Mortal Kombat players have been wondering if this line, coupled with the background of Injustice's popular character, the Joker, could mean that Injustice 3 is coming, one thought to be the only one.

NetherRealm's creative director Ed Boon unconvincingly denied it on Twitter, showering the rumor with hot lava.

"This Joker dialogue does not imply any connection to 'Injustice. This Joker dialogue does not suggest a connection to "Injustice".

However, given that the Joker is the last roster member of Mortal Kombat 11 and that his next project is still under wraps, it is hard to believe that this line was not written intentionally.

However, whether or not the line was weighted, however, you can play as the Joker in Mortal Kombat on January 28 if you already own the DLC pack, or you can purchase him as a DLC character starting February 4.
