Eight nominations each for "Control" and "Death Stranding" at the 2020 DICE Awards

"Control" and "Death Stranding" lead the nominations for the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences' 23rd Annual DICE Awards. [DICE, by the way, is an acronym for Design, Innovate, Communicate, and Entertain. Because I think at least some of you would be interested.)

If these headliners sound strangely familiar, it's because "Control" and "Death Stranding" were also among the top nominees for the Game Developers Choice Awards announced last week. They are popular games! But that's not all: other nominees include "Disco Elysium" and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" in six categories each, "Outer Wilds" and "Untitled Goose Game" in four categories, "A Short Hike," "Mortal Kombat 11", "Sayonara Wild Hearts" and "Resident Evil 2" each received three nominations.

A total of 65 games are nominated for the 2020 awards, which will be selected by "peer panelists" from across the video game industry. The winners will be announced on February 13. Here is the full list of nominees:
