Large case to hold Intel's small NUC "Ghost Canyon" is now available

Intel's recent announcement of the Ghost Canyon NUC seems to have tugged at the heartstrings of several hardware partners, some of whom have introduced products specifically designed for modular gaming PCs. One of them is Cooler Master's NC100 small form factor (SFF) case.

In case you're wondering, the Ghost Canyon NUC is a fully self-contained PC in its own right, with the option to add a shorter graphics card inside the relatively small chassis. the main parts of the Ghost Canyon NUC, with CPU, RAM, and storage Simply remove it and add the upgraded module.

As a gaming PC, you will want to pair the NUC with a discrete GPU, and companies like Asus are offering a pair of factory overclocked Dual GeForce RTX 2070 Mini cards (one of the two models has a somewhat more aggressive overclock overclocked), including a pair of short cards designed to fit in a NUC, are stepping up with shorter cards.

So far, the 2070 appears to be the fastest GPU available for the Ghost Canyon NUC. This is where Cooler Master's NC100 comes in. Like Razer's recently announced Tomahawk N1, the NC100 allows for longer graphics cards at its disposal.

Compared to Razer's 10-liter Tomahawk, the NC100 is a bit more compact, as it is a 7.5-liter case; the NC100 also comes with an SFX power supply, a Cooler Master representative told The Tech Buyer's Guru ( good find by The Verge), this is a 650W power supply with 80 Plus Gold certification. This is the very wattage that Nvidia recommends for the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (280W GPU).

There is also a special baseboard inside the NC100. According to Cooler Master, the case with the PSU and baseboard will be available at Newegg, CyberPower PC, and other retailers in Q2 2020 for $199.99. It will be available for sale.
