"Mutazione," a "mutant soap opera" adventure game set in a gossipy small town 100 years after a meteorite impact, was nominated for four of this year's Independent Game Festival Awards nominations, including the Schumas McNally Grand Prize, and and took the top spot.
Other nominees include Knights and Bikes (for Excellence in Visual Art and Audio), Elsinore (for Excellence in Design and Narrative), and Slay the Spire (Seumas McNally Grand Prize and Excellence in Design). Nominations for the 2020 IGF Awards are selected from more than 550 games and submitted to a "diverse jury of experts from across the industry" for final consideration. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony during the Game Developers Conference on March 18. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be streamed live on Twitch.
