Obsidian's Nebula Award-winning sci-fi RPG "The Outer Worlds" will release its first major expansion DLC "Peril on Gorgon" in September, Microsoft announced today at its major Xbox Games Showcase event. The announcement was made at Microsoft's major Xbox Games Showcase event today.
The "Crisis on Gorgon" has been announced for some time, with a strange message appearing on The Outer Worlds website recently telling visitors, "In Gorgon, always..." The message told them that they were in the midst of a "Gorgon crisis". Adrena-Time (made of real heterogeneous cellular waste!)." [The Gorgon turned out to be an asteroid on which players traveled to investigate the mysterious origins of Adrena-Time. Adrena-Time is a consumable that increases movement speed and melee attack speed, causing an "Adrena-Time Crash" that drains attributes when the rush is too much. Cosmic drug: you have to love it.
The DLC will add "a significant amount of content" to the game, Obsidian said, including "noirish adventures" and new weapons, armor, perks, and flaws. The game will be priced at $15 and will be available on September 9. There will also be a two-part expansion pass available for $25. More details on the pass will be revealed later.
