Last Oasis developer Donkey Crew details the survival MMO's PvP system in a new developer video PvP is apparently going to be risky, and aggressive players will need to consider their resources, the time it takes to fight, and where to fight. It seems that they need to take into account their resources, the time it takes to fight, and the location of the fight.
Since it is a dynamic world that changes as the sun begins to scorch previously habitable land, players are not the only threat. Instead of making enemies, it might be better to look for allies. Especially if you belong to a guild that controls an oasis, they tend to be cooperative because they want to protect random players who stop by and start looking for resources. If you are a solo pirate, you may want to avoid these protected areas.
The Donkey Crew is also putting out a final call for testers, and the team is specifically looking for clans to test larger scale PvP next month. If you belong to a clan that might be able to handle the Last Oasis desert, please visit Discord next week and contact one of the community managers.
